"And it's also helping sell new DS hardware. Coupled with a price drop to $129.99, retailers are reporting DS sales up between one and a half and three times previous levels, and last week DS comfortably outsold our portable competitors."
Nintendogs lets owners train and care for lifelike puppies using the DS system's touch screen and microphone. It became a cultural phenomenon in Japan and launched in the United States on Aug. 22.
People who like traditional hard-core video games have plenty to enjoy as well. Retailers also report that the new Advance Wars®: Dual Strike military strategy game for Nintendo DS has become one of Nintendo's top sellers.

02.09.05 - Nintendo hat in Japan den Handheld Nintendo DS seit Markteinführung am 02.12.04 bis heute 3.015.894 Mal absetzen können. Das geht aus Erhebungen von Media Create hervor.
Von Sonys PSP wurden seit Verkaufsstart 1.652.728 Einheiten in Japan verkauft.

Kann mal jemand das übersetzen?
benutz den Google Translator oder Babelfish...wenn man kein englisch kann, muss man nicht erwarten, dass jemand einem alles übersetzt
ich mein, englisch ist ja auch net so die Sprache, wo man die Sätze wegen der Syntax net versteht
wenn man 1 Jahr englisch hatte und n Wörterbuch neben sich liegen hat, sollte man schon das allermeiste entziffern können...nicht unbedingt irgendwelches hochgestelztes Business Englisch, aber irgendwelche Newsartikel von Videospielseiten sicherleichen
Eigentlich wollte ich mir ja ne PSP zulegen, aber der Preis und das maue Spieleangebot schrecken mich ab. Im Moment habe ich keinerlei Viedospielkonsole, hab aber vor kurzem mal ne Spieleliste des GBA gesehen: http://www.gamezone.de/reviews.asp?sys= ... 0309094834
Und mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich 90% der Action-Adventure-Knaller (GS:LA,Zelda MC, Fire Emblem, etc.) noch gar nicht kenne.
Spiele jetzt mit dem Gedanken, mir nen DS zuzulegen (z.B. mit SM64) und dazu nen paar GBA-Perlen. Wird der GBA eigentlich noch weiterhin mit Software unterstützt? Bin mikr sicher, dass jeder Action-Adventure-Titel (siehe oben) bestimmt genauso viel Spaß macht wie alle PSP-Games zusammmen.

Also den DS solltest du auf jeden Fall besitzen. Ein toller Handheld, der wunderbar innovativ, GBA-abwärtskompatibel und hochwertig verarbeitet ist (nix klappert).

Das "nich klappern" bezog sich auf die gute Verarbeitung die er ansprach, das "innovativ" hingegen bezog sich auf den Dual- und TouchScreen inkl der Spiele dafür(Meteos, Nintendogs, Metroid Prime Hunters und co.)

Genau, Gin. Ein gutes Beispiel für einen "klapprigen" Handheld ist sicherlich die PSP. Hier gibt es durchaus Grund zu meckern. Denn z.B. den Laufwerk-Verschluß empfinde ich als zu klapprig und relativ leicht anfällig für Defekte.
Das einzig gute GBA-Dragon Ball ist IMO Advanced Adventure. Top Gameplax, lediglich zu kurzer Umfang. Als kurzweiliger Arcadespaß allerdings immer zu gebrauchen.
bin zum ersten Mal hier (Handhelds) und bevor ich die 60 Seiten durchschaue, vielleicht kann mir jm schnell sagen ob denn nun eine Preissenkung (DS) geplant ist.
Freut mich für Nintendo, vor allem auch der Abstand zur PSP.
